That special day:

Once more Christmas had as prequel the Our Big Day Out initiative. Held on the 16th and 17th of December 2006 it had the Kids Balloon as host and a whole lot more of activities and stations as well. The kids were already used to the inflatablecastles and games, the drawing or sewing stations but things like cartoon projections, video gaming and a puppet show that lasted only a few minutes (the stage was ransacked by the anxious kids) and an instant photo station were the among the main attractions. This time part of the food was prepared by the volunteers on spot, with fresh sandwiches and vegetables. The day ended after Santa shared gifts to every kid that was there. The second day the crew headed for the elder homes to give away packages and most of all to be there for those in need. All in all, this edition of Our Big Day Out was a blast, and as they say, experience is golden. With your help, year by year, this could become one of the main events on the romanian charity calendar.
